This comic brings up a very interesting point. The point the comic tries to raise (and it’s quite old, 16 years) is the fact that we’re wasting our lives waiting than really doing. We’re waiting for a meeting, a big party, the big game, all these things we’re spending our time waiting. It makes you think that a lot of people may very well spend a majority of their life wasting time and always waiting for big events to happen in their lives, and often those big events never come.
Another interesting point the comment brings up is anxiety and stress. Our entire lives are pretty much being eaten up by stress, and we let that happen. We never realize to think that we’re alive, right now, and our life is the only one we’ll have (unless reincarnation is real), and we’re often spending our time doing things that cause us stress. We pretty much enforce this as mandatory for young people (school).
I haven’t written in this blog in some time considering the stress I’ve been through, but I thought this was worth posting.
